And Bolt Nails It Again!

Sunday evening as my dad, mom and I watched Usain Bolt, Blake, Asafa Powell, Tyson Gay,etc qualify for the finals that were to be conducted at 2:20 IST, I told my dad I want Usain Bolt to win.

And win he bloody well did! In 9.63 seconds!!

There's just something about knowing that a man who has created world recordS and is under SO much pressure .. The others were under pressure too, yes, but I just simply really wanted Usain Bolt to win.

He qualified pretty effortlessly in the evening, even watching who was behind him once he was 30 meters off the mark.
And in the finals conducted 25 mins ago, HE FLEW!

If  you missed it somehow, please go visit any link, watch the video where he ran 100 mts in 9.63 seconds, setting up a whole new record!

CONGRATULATIONS BOLT!

Yohan Blake of Jamaica finished second in 9.75 secs, and Justin Gatlin of the USA, third in 9.79 seconds. Congratulations!

Yohan Blake : "Usain is the fastest man in the world. I got a silver medal, what more can I ask for? I give credit to my coach."

  3. Bolt is the fastest man in the world till date and also the teacher of future generation. Just like Nadal in tennis who has his own technique and physique, Bolt is the same in 100 and 200 metres. Earlier, well-built, mid-gut athletes were world beaters. Bolt proved that well-built tall athletes also will rule the world in shorter distance. Now, future generation will follow in Bolt's footsteps and definitely prove me right. And one day, maybe after ten or fifteen years, Bolt's world record will be broken and the credit will go to Bolt.

  7. I was texting someone frantically for being excited to see the race just before it started. I look back up only to see that... it has finished and I missed it.

Train for four years and win it all or lose it all only in 10 seconds. That's more pressure than what chinese kids get.
